I can't believe it. It seems like the closer we get to the end of school, the less time there is, and so fewer emails for you. We're really trying to reinforce routines and procedures, because everyone is getting restless this time of year. Tomorrow is a PE day. This week in Science we're wrapping up animal parts for mammals and fish (as well as a few characteristics). We'll go into insects probably by Wed., and then talk about life cycles next week. For math- we're working on counting by 10s, but starting at a different number ( 2, 12, 24...) and continuing with measurement as we move into graphing and drawing conclusions. Drawing conclusions is basically how we get information from the graph. I'm trying to throw a few speaking SeeSaws in there to showcase how far we've come, but also have to remember that we're still going to be beginning there: highly repetitive words and phrases. Having not done immersion before, I am so impressed with their receptive language, they really are learning and understanding language a lot more quickly and easily. It's pretty cool. Have a great week. -- |
